Leadership Northern Ireland
Fresh Thinking In A Changing Political, Social & Economic Landscape
Wednesday 11th June - Waterfront Hall: Belfast
"The fostering of progressive & dynamic leadership qualities & skills will be central to the achievement of the economic & social goals that Government has set for the region. As Northern Ireland strives to develop as an internationally competitive, knowledge-based economy, it is a key Departmental objective to encourage & support the development of the leadership skills necessary to underpin that growth.”
- Sir Reg Empey OBE MLA - Employment & Learning Minister: Department for Employment & Learning: The Northern Ireland Executive (Keynote speaker at Leadership Northern Ireland 2008).
Northern Ireland is experiencing - & will continue to experience – unprecedented change as a result of the ‘peace dividend’ & the new power-sharing government structure. These changes will be experienced by all sectors of the Northern Ireland economy (public, private & voluntary/community).
