Situated in the heart of Westminster in the leafy square surrounding St Johns Church, Local Government House offers a major new conference facility in a prime location.
Formerly known as Transport House, this state of the art conference centre is also home to the offices of the Local Government Association. The newly refurbished building boasts superb conference and meeting facilities, which are available for hire.
With its close proximity to the Houses of Parliament, the venue already has an illustrious history in playing host to high profile meetings and conferences since 1928.
Local Government House offers facilities for any size of meeting or conference up to 140 delegates. All the rooms are air-conditioned and fully equipped with high tech audio-visual presentation capabilities to meet today's business needs. Every effort has been made to ensure the venue is fully accessible for people with disabilities.
