Public Service People Management 2004
Glasgow 18th / 19th February 2004
Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre - Glasgow
Wednesday & Thursday 18th & 19th February 2004
PUBLIC SECTOR PEOPLE MANAGEMENT EXPO-the event of 2004 for everyone associated with Scottish public sector \'people\' issues - comes at a crucial time for the nation's numerous public sector departments, agencies & organisations.
For whatever their activity, size or location, all Scottish public sector employers are facing a common challenge; how to recruit, equip, retain, train & motivate their workforce, while responding to an ever-changing modernisation & reform programme (21st Century Government / the Joint Future programme / Agenda For Change, to name just a few).
Via main plenary sessions, seminars, interactive workshops & an informative on - site exhibition, PSPM EXPO 2004 will provide an ideal opportunity to view, listen & learn about the latest in people management ideas, initiatives & good practice.
The plenary sessions, workshop & seminar themes have been devised in two unique ways. Firstly, Public Service Partnership Ltd (PSP Ltd) has conducted an extensive survey across the Scottish public sector people management communty. Results from this exercise have been used to put together an agenda which accurately reflects the concerns, interests and needs of that community.
Secondly, PSP Ltd has formed an advisory panel consisting of the key stakeholders in Scottish public sector people management & Scottish public service reform. This has been done to ensure that the presentations made during the plenary, workshop & seminar sessions accuratle reflect the policy, strategy, aims & objectives of the most senior management levels in Scottish public service.
Whether your people management interest is in policy development, strategy or 'grass roots' implementation, PSPM EXPO 2004, with an impressive line-up of Ministerial & specialist speakers & contributors, is not to be missed.
